However, they will also have to rely on Sri Lanka to beat Australia in the upcoming 2-match Test series which will be played in the island nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0However, 2 wins in the final two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar series will make sure that India qualify for the WTC Final even if Australia win both of their matches against Sri Lanka. India will also be relying on Pakistan to help them qualify for the WTC final. If the Border-Gavaskar series does end at 2-2, the Men in Blue will qualify for the final if Pakistan ends up beating South Africa in their upcoming 2-match Test series.
