Iyer entered the IPL 2025 mega auctions as one of the player who was in the wish list of a lot of franchises. rishabh Pant currently holds the record for being the most expensive player, who was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for a massive sum of Rs. 27 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When asked about the possibility of players taking high bids, Preity responded with a surprised expression and gave a hint of her not expecting such high staked at the auction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<strong><em>Well, hamesha aisa laga tha ki jo bhi IPL mein, it&#8217;ll be record-breaking. Par 26 crore, yes socha tha (Sorry) 27 crore, Sorry Shreyas! Kuch toh tax mein katega.&#8221; (Well, I have always felt anything is record-breaking in the IPL. But 26 crore, yes, thought about it. (Sorry) 27 crore, Sorry Shreyas! A portion will go to tax.)<\/em><\/strong>,&#8221; Preity Zinta told brodcasters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Punjab Kings entered the auction with the biggest purse of Rs. 110.5 crore, and have built a strong base for the next season as they aim to clinch their maiden title win. Preity Zinta expressed how she was satisfied with the new players taken by the team , as she said that they have completed 90 percent of the players they had in their
