However, his second tenure as the Pakistan captain was not successful at all as the side was knocked out of the group stages at the 2024 T20 World Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pressure has been mounting on Pakistan cricket in recent months, especially after their loss to Bangladesh in a Test series at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amid this tough situation, Babar has announced that he will be stepping down as Pakistan&#8217;s white-ball captain.
