Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma played the role of a pivot with both her batting and bowling skills as she helped London Spirits beat Welsh Fire by four wickets and lift their maiden Women’s The Hundred title. Deepti had a wicket while giving away 23 runs, and then smashed a ball-to-ball 16, which also included the match winning six off the ball by Hayley Matthews. Two years ago, Deepti controversially dismissed Dean with a run-out at the non-striker’s end during the 3rd ODI against England in 2022, which acted as a trigger towards her spirit for the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
