IND vs NZ Women’s T20 World Cup Live: New Zealand Won by 58 Runs

New Zealand women’s team won by 58 runs as they bowled out team India for a mere 102 runs.

Last two balls of the second last over saw the consecutive fall of the final two wickets for Team India. The fifth ball saw the fall of Shreyanka Patil, and the last ball saw the fall of Renuka Singh.

The final two wickets for India remain with the final two overs, Asha Sobhana and Shreyanka Patil are on the pitch and will be doing their best in their chase. India 99/8 in 18 overs, target 161.

After the wicket of Deepti, Vastrakar has now also been dismissed in the very next over. She got bowled out by Amelia Kerr. Final two wickets left. India at 91/8 in 16 overs, target 161.

After one beautiful wicket by Arundhati, Asha steps in to take another wicket and gets the other opener dismissed as well. Georgia caught out by Mandhana, NZ 68/2 in 9 overs.

After massive runs by Suzie and Georgia, Arundhati turns out to find a breakthrough with a lengthed delivery on middle to a well judged catch by Shreyanka Patil at deep mid-wicket. NZ 67/1 after 8 overs.

New Zealanders have established a good partnership for the opening wicket. New Zealand at 55/0 after 6 overs.

Suzie and Georgia have been going all-out in their run-scoring and have been hitting elegant shots. New Zealand currently at 35/0 after 4 overs

New Zealand openers are on to a good start. Suzie is going berserk as she has scored 12 runs already, while Georgia will be eyeing to make more runs. NZ 13/0 in 2 overs.
