Yuvraj Singh tells Abhishek Sharma to ‘Apply Your Brains’ after shameful run-out in Bangladesh T20I

Abhishek Sharma's game in T20I against Bangladesh saw an unfortunate end as when Sanju Samson sent a shot to mid-wicket, he tried for a run but Sanju dclined. This resulted in him being ran-out for just 16 runs.

Former Indian cricketer and mentor Yuvraj Singh surprisingly mad an appearance on Abhishek Sharma’s Instagram post to give a harsh warning as the Indian opener faced a horrible run-out in the opening game of the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh on Sunday.

Back to the game after two months, Abhishek’s seven-ball game of 16 runs saw an unfortunate end as he had a mix-up with his fellow opener Sanju Samson. Sanju declined going for a single after he shot a delivery to the mid-wicket, but Abhishek was far off from his side of the crease, where Towhid Hridoy directly sent a throw and resulted in Abhishek being dismissed.

Abhishek later went on to Instagram and posted, “Every run, every ball- it’s all for the team,” along with glimpses of the first T20I against Bangladesh.

While fans believed that a big game was closing in on him for the youngster, Yuvraj Singh did not cut any of his words and replied to his post by writing “Only if we apply our brains properly”.
