ICC officials inspect Wankhede Stadium
The Mumbai stadium has undergone a two-year $55 million renovation in preparation for its first World Cup fixture on March 13. It will also host the final on April 2. Organisers of the World Cup have dismissed fears of a repeat of last year's Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, when many venues were badly delayed and scruffily finished.

World Cup adorns Bombay Stock Exchange
The International Cricket Council marked the 30-day countdown to the World Cup by displaying the tournament's trophy at the Bombay Stock Exchange on Wednesday.ICC president Sharad Pawar, chief executive Haroon Lorgat and tournament director Ratnakar Shetty all rang the opening bell at the BSE to signal the start of the day's trading.
