Sanjay Manjrekar believes that the Indian bowling attack relies on Jasprit Bumrah more than needed. Sanjay also pointed out that Mohammed Siraj failed to provide enough support to Bumrah, while pacers like Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana struggled to make any impact whatsoever.

“I don’t think a lot of people believed in me because they thought that this bowling action will not last for long. He’ll play for six months, seven months,” Bumrah told Fox Cricket.

“We’re very confident, but we know we have to play very, very well from here on if we want to win. It’s really a question of winning the next four games, really. You have to win the next four games to be able to win this tournament,” were Dravid’s simple words in the pre-match press conference on India’s road in the tournament.
