India skipper Rohit Sharma dropped an easy catch which would have dismissed Travis Head for 112 on the second day of the third Test. The 37-year-old gave the Australian batter a lifeline at The Gabba and missed the opportunity which would have seen him head back to the dugout.

Head was batting on 112 runs from 125 balls when a ball by Nitish Kumar Reddy kissed the edge of his bat and travelled straight to the slips where Rohit was fielding. But the Indian captain failed to complete the catch as Head survived.

The video of Rohit dropping Head’s catch was shared by fans on social media and it went viral in no time.

Meanwhile, Head completed his ninth century in red-ball cricket and his third against India in the format during the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar series in Brisbane.
