WATCH: MS Dhoni casts vote with wife for Jharkhand Assembly Elections in Ranchi

The former India captain was seen entering the polling both along with his wife while being surrounded by cameras and reporters

Legendary India cricketer MS Dhoni was seen casting his vote with his wife Sakshi in Ranchi for Jharkhand Assembly Elections on Wednesday, November 13.

The former India captain is enjoying his retirement life in his hometown of Ranchi and is often seen making public appearances on several occasions.

In a video which has now gone viral on social media, Dhoni can be seen entering the polling booth amid tight security with his wife as the duo was surrounded by cameras and were welcomed loud cheers of fans. 

Dhoni is all set to feature for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for his 18th season of the IPL after getting retained by the franchise under the ‘uncapped player’ category. Due to him being considered as an uncapped player, CSK only had to spend INR 4 crore to retain him for the upcoming season.

Other retentions from the Chennai-based franchise include Ruturaj Gaikwad (INR 18 crore), Ravindra Jadeja (INR 18 crore), Matheesha Pathirana (INR 13 crore) and Shivam Dube (INR 12 crore).
