South Africa announced a 15-member squad for the four-match T20I series against India. Several senior players such as David Miller and Heinrich Klaasen have notably coming back to the international stage after an interval following their loss to India in the finals of 2024 T20 World cup in June.
The South African selection committee has brought light to young talent as they have included 24-year-old Mihlali Mpongwana in the T20I squad for the first time. Mihlali’s performance has been impressive as he has earned a valuable spot in the national team.
