The mega auction of IPL 2025 was a historic event, which witnessed a massive spending spree by all the 10 franchises as they made an attempt to make their squads for the upcoming season of the league.

In the two days of the auction, 1192 players were sold in total for a whopping amount of Rs. 639.15 crore. There were more than enough record-0breaking deals in this auction, as Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer became the most expensive players to be sold in IPL history.

While the IPL auction witnessed brought many deals, it also brought disappointment as many players went unsold. Several top Indian players, including Prithvi Shaw, Sarfaraz Khan, and others were left unsold.

Even thought the IPL auction has been completed, the chance is not completely finished for unsold players. There is a possibility of them still being picked up as injury replacements for the current members of the squads.
