Jharkhand Housing Board starts Investigation on MS Dhoni’s mansion: Accuse the property being used for Commercial purpose
The Jharkhand state Housing Board has accused former Indian captain MS Dhoni for using his residential house at Jharkhand, for some non-residential purposes.

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni has been charged by the Jharkhand State Housing Board for using his residential land for commercial purposes. The board claims that it is against the rules to use residential land for non-residential uses. The plot that board allots as residential plots should be used for residential uses only. .
Reports suggest that a diagnostic center was being established at Dhoni’s home has sparked the issue. Regarding this, the board has ordered an inquiry to make sure the original reason behind the allocation of the plot, and that it is being utilised according to the regulations.
Strict actions are going to be taken if it comes out that the residential land is being used/exploited for commercial purposes. According to Board chairman Sanjay Lal Paswan, any other form of use is prohibited
Dhoni used to live at the house on Harmu Road, but he now lives at Simaliya’s Ring Road. According to reports, a diagnostic lab has been set up at the older property, which is the reason why the housing board is monitoring the situation.
Jharkhand government had awarded Dhoni the plot when Arjun Munda was Chief Minister because of his spectacular achievements in cricket. It is worth noting that BJP’s state headquarters on Harmu Road has also been accused of using residential lands for non-residential purposes.
